God’s Glorious Church
We shall be looking at a much-neglected area of New Testament
teaching. Some may think of ‘church’ as an uninspiring subject, but
that’s not how the Triune God sees it! To the Father she is
glorious, and He gave His Son to win her! The Lord Jesus Christ is
thrilled by her! And God the Holy Spirit is pleased to make her His
dwelling place. That’s three reasons why we should take what the
Bible says about the Church seriously!

Groups - Walking in the
Spirit
‘Walking in the Spirit’ is how the New Testament describes the
Christian life. Yet many Christians have only a hazy idea of what
that means. In Galatians chapter 5, the Apostle Paul expounds this
theme. In particular, verses 22-23 describe the ‘fruit of the
Spirit’. Whether you are a young believer or have been a Christian
for many years, this is vital and challenging teaching for all
Christians! We all have much to learn since none of us is perfect
(yet!). After an
introductory study, we shall look at each of the nine parts of the
‘fruit of the Spirit’ in turn over the coming months. |
